VenueConnect 2026 was one for the books!

Hosted by the International Association of Venue Managers (IAVM), VenueConnect brought together public assembly venue professionals from across the globe for a week full of learning, networking, new ideas, and plenty of conversations about where the industry is headed next.

And of course, showNets was there for it!

More Than Just a Trade Show

VenueConnect is about much more than walking around an exhibit hall. It’s about bringing together the people who make the venue industry happen.

With more than 8,100 active IAVM members representing venues ranging from arenas and stadiums to convention centers, performing arts centers, amphitheaters, and more, there’s no shortage of knowledge and experience in one place.

We loved getting the chance to meet venue professionals, reconnect with industry friends, and talk about one of the most important pieces of any modern event: connectivity.

Good Conversations = Great Connections

One of our favorite parts of VenueConnect was simply getting to talk with people.

From sharing industry challenges to swapping ideas and learning about what’s next for venues, every conversation gave us something to take away.

Because that’s what makes events like VenueConnect so valuable. The technology is important, but the people behind the industry are what really drive it forward.
